football and cheer leading
I never knew what went in to being a coach. It's really hard and time consuming. Keeping up with 15 girls is so crazy. An I can't even really watch Cody play in the game anymore. The drama all these girls have will either make your hair turn gray or just fall out. I really do not know how to teach the girls that we are a team just like football and baseball an if we all do not work together then we will all fail. Some of them wont even give 100% how to you teach them that's what it's all about. I am thinking of a camping trip to let them bond, I really don't know!!! We are also needing ideas for fundraisers. I have came up with a few like, kiss the pig, a few car washes, bake sale and a secret Santa shop around Christmas. I think I am really overwhelmed by all of this.

Oh boy! You took on a BIG task!!! You do know that cheerleaders are mostly on the team to say they are a cheerleader and to get the attention of the football players??? :o)
ReplyDeleteYou'll do great! Make them run lots of laps. I had to run lots of laps...it made me shut my mouth when the coach was talking! Oh, and it wasn't just me that ran...the whole team would run when ONE girl talked. Talk about creating unity in a team!
That what I'm trying to do is create team unity because at this point I think they all hate each other.. And the cheerleaders are not allowed to talk to the football players at all. (we will see how that goes) We do make them run laps like when thier hands arent on their hips ( i think thats been the hardest thing for them to remember it to keep their hand on their hips) I think I may be in way over my head.
